6 cyl switch wiring -
V8 switch wiring ... they both came off factory wiring diagrams, works on the trucks I've had
if the resistor bypass wire went directly from the starter to the coil the truck would fire whenever the foot stomp was depressed regardless if the key was on or off, pretty dicey situation .... with proper wiring the coil only gets power from the ign switch, either from the resistor or the starter
