The A833 was found in gm 1/2 ton pickups in the 80s and early 90s. Be forwarned, the side shifting hurst linkage will come up through the floorboard close to the bench seat.
1981-87 give or take a year, it depends on who is telling the story. There were two styles, the mopar version used a special bell housing and the preferred version has the Chevrolet bolt pattern and will fit your bell housing with a little machining. The version you are looking for is C-15390. You will find this on the case housing.
The casting number on the Mopar version is: C-15475
