Hi folks,
My stock '49 3100 is having shifting issues.
Sporadically the transmission will not come out of gear and sticking has happened in all forward gears. To get the transmission to shift again, I have to kill the engine, then move the transmission control assembly lever on the steering column under the hood of the stuck gear. Shifting then works great until it happens again, which can be in fifty feet or twenty miles. Any ideas of the issue and more importantly, the fix? All help is greatly appreciated!!!
