When I bought my 46 several years ago I drove it for a few months before the restoration began. The hydro-vac unit was not in service and the vacuum line had been capped. Although it would stop, it took a lot of force on the pedal and a lot of planning. I am close to getting the old girl back on the road and would like to pluck everyone's brains. Here it goes, first of all how well do the old hydro-vacs work? Are they difficult to work on or find rebuild parts for? Am I better off using some newer technology, and if so what would be the best fit? Thanks to all your advice, it is awesome!!!
