Will I be able to pull my stovebolt from my 66 stepside with the 3 speed transmission attached? I pulled the radiator and fan. I would rather not pull the radiator support unless it is no big deal to do so. Will it clear if I pull as a unit?
Of the 4 bolts holding the trans to the clutch housing the 2 bottom bolts are broke off, even with the case, it seems as they are guide pins put guess they are broken bolts,
The trans is "welded" on.
I was thinking of putting a strap on the tail of the trans and another on the rear axle with a come along in the middle, applying rearward pressure and tapping the trans, I have been applying penentrating oil.
Any other suggestions if I can not pull as a unit would be appreciated.
