When dealing with foam... Keep in mind.... There are diffrent types of foam. I would recomend using three diffrent kind or at min. use two types. I can buy foam whole sale and just for my 35 chevy seat. I forgoed the og seat fram and used foam. and I made it fit the seat cover. On the seat back I used only one type of foam and on the seat bottom. The bottom layer was a dense foam with a softer one on top. IT is very nice. But, my cost for the foam was still over 300.00 last summer.
so, You have to figure if the foam is the way for your project or not. For that truck it is worth it.
For my two suburbans? Well, I would still say yes but, in the end the costs may come out about the same. and You must use an automotive foam otherwise It will fall apart in a short time.
