I had a 53 chev pu and put in a 70 ford f100 rear end. What's nice about them is they are extremely strong and it is a snap to change the gears out if you want another ratio. It's 61 1/2" from the left/right axles. It's 61 3/4" from mounting surface to mounting surface. When you do this you will have a 5 1/2 inch bolt pattern with 5 1/2" bolts. Solution is to either get multi lug wheels from someone like Stockton Wheels which will fit both the chev front and the ford rear. For other modifications let me know.
