Well Panic, opinions are like a certain orifice on the human torso, everybody has one. I personally have seen too many engines that didn’t perform up to expectations because the owner tried to save a buck. Replacing valve seats in engines today for a qualified auto machine shop is as common a practice as replacing guides.
