Truck slips out of reverse so bad I have to hold shift lever when backing up so it wont slip into drive. I disconnected the rods engine side of firewall and the slightest touch makes the gears slip so the problem must be in the tranny. I hope it's not a serious problem because I know nothing about trannies and it's not like you can take it apart and figure it out. Anyone know what might be the problem and what needs to be done to correct it.
