Adam61 Shop Shark A Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 331 Calgary, Alberta, Canada	Dads50, my truck has the oil filter in a canister, which is mounted to a bracket that's connected to the intake manifold. Is this what you meant by "remote housing"?
