Finally getting around to my next project: 49-55 on a S10 frame with a 5.3/4L60E. I know some will say that is a sin but I grew up with these trucks and I like to have A/C and heat with decent brakes and more fun
Started on my parents 50 reg cab/short bed with 4 spd then a 57 3 spd then on to a 59 and a 62. During college I had a 47 3 spd then 2 '50 Suburbans. The last one was a very nice vehicle and I sold it to a friend and he drove it for years around Denver.
Later had a '55 Cameo (boy do I wish I had that now) and some other toys with the last one being a 65 mustang fastback.
I have the S10 frame and am now looking for decent sheetmetal somewhere in the west texas-eastern new mexico area. Any leads would be appreciated.
