Yes, '55-'62 would be the same as far as the 3rd member goes. If you're lucky, you might be able to come across the '60-'62 with the Eaton posi, though they are rare. GMC from that era use the Spicer 45, which is essentialy a Spicer/Dana 44 set up for being a rear drive axle.
