The 235 will get up and go, too. I think it just lacks a little in the top-end.
Before switching to 17" rims and big, heavy tires, I was pretty impressed with how our stock 235 would get our '54 3600 out of the hole. And really, in 4th there is still a lot of throttle left. More than I am willing to give it until we get better tires, anyway.
