| | | | Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 5 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 5 | I swapped out my original ring and pinion for a 3:55 to 1 set. Worked well for awhile, then had a disaster. Unsure what the problem is after dozens of hours, am thinking of replacing the whole rear end. It's a '51 half-ton with a 235. Is there an easy fit for a later unit? I have a 4-speed gearbox in the truck. | | |
