Curious to know what you've come up with. I am in the same boat myself. The tires are looking rougher than I thought and some new rubber is a must before I hit the road.
This truck is going to be a driver, as in daily, every day and may see highway miles from time to time though not highway speeds right now.
I'm considering going the econoline van wheel route, I'd prefer to find them in 17" rather than 16" though.
