Guilty as charged! This link shows how I did it with brief descriptions below each picture.
Unfortunately you have to 'sacrifice' a set of original gauges,mine were toast anyway.
There's also a tech tip from another fellow 'bolter Danimal on the New Vintage site.
To be fair,that's where I got the idea in the first place....
