| | | | Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 | yes it's "just" spot welded, in about a zillion places, including the brace bracket under and behind the steering column - look it all over with the windshield out and it should be obvious .... the process has been discussed in the forums a couple times, requires a proper spot weld drill and care not to mess up the flange that mounts the windshield rubber
