I think I figured things out. I took the cap off the shifter and noticed this rod out of place with the "forks" from the shifter arms. I put the rod back in line with the forks and I think it will work. Problem I am having now is the cap or cover for the shifter box is not mounting right. The bottom shifter arm is not resting in the groove of the box.
Will figure it out.
