Hey Jerry.....thanks for reminding me of the obvious. I hadn't considered renting a lift. Maybe that outfit that shares the building with Lowes will have one. I'll check later this afternoon.

Kip.....that's some contraption you built there to serve as your lift. I don't have enough room to build an A-frame as big (nor do I need one that big!)as yours but it gave me an idea. I could buy a small chain pulley lift or a substantial come-along and attach it to a big tree limb, back the truck underneath it and hoist it off that way, then lower it on the new engine stand I built and then roll it on boards to the driveway and into the garage. Yep, that just might work!!
