You would also have to fabricate motor and trans mounts to use the 5 speed from the late model truck with the integrated bellhousing. they do not havr the mounts for the rear of the engine. They also will not bolt up to the 235/261 engine.
The NV4500 would also reguire an adapter as the bolt pattern for the bellhousing is different.
The Gear Venders or Ranger overdrive might be a better solution.
