| | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,097 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,097 | The key thing to remember when converting to a V-8 from a 235/261 6 cyl is that nothing from the 6 cylinder can be used in the conversion. You can use your original transmission but will need a V-8 bellhousing and flywheel. It would be a good idea to locate a complete V-8 with all the accessories. Front mounts are also required and available from aftermarket suppliers.
