| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 321 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 321 | i finally found a wiindow in my schedule to tear into the engine to find out what all broke. the fiber timing gear shed about a quarter of the teeth off and that is where the engine stopped.
i am now trying to get the timing gear off and was wondering if there a way to remove the timing gear from the cam without taking the cam out of the engine, and i suppose if it is possible to get the new gear back on while the cam stays in the engine as well.
any input is appreciated! | | |
