The early, prior to 52 had the pull down handles. The PO must have upgraded to the later push button handles and coresponding latches. If your door latches are working properly I'd leave them alone, unless you want to be year correct? If you go that route, it would be a lot of work to install the vent windows and change out the latches and handles. The popular option is to do away with the vent window and go with the early door glass. Another note about the early latches, the repop replacements "suck"! Other option is trade doors with another bolter.
