Well guys, I finally got the truck in the shop and tried putting the engine in over the weekend.
I must not have enough hands because its not working for me.
I think I am going to drop the tranny.
Using Tyler's procedure above (thanks), it sounds pretty basic. Drop the driveshaft/TT, lower tranny down with jack, place engine in. Lift tranny up again and slide into bellhousing using alignment studs. Bolt up.
Then what order do I put the driveshaft TT in? Bolt TT up, intermediate bearing, then rear ujoints?

Update: Dropped tranny and got the engine in. Simple. Always going to do it this way now, way easier.
