My '59 3600 Apache w/ a 261 6 was pulled and sealed this summer(by me)on the first test drive it runs great until i get to highway speed(about a mile out of town) then something is "pulling" the engine down to the point i have to stop and cool it down. I disconnected the trans brake but no improvement. It can sit in drive and idle w/ no prob, just when you get it on road,then the problem. When this happens and i push in the clutch in makes a "whinning" noise....? could it be the throw-out bearing or something i didnt put back in properly?
