The truck was lower in the front on the driver's side. My friend who had been an auto mechanic since 1919 told me that was from wear & tear and the truck almost always being driven without a passenger...maybe. Anyway he told me I could take the almost flat spring off, take it apart, try to re-arc the leaves in my vice and add an extra leaf...one of the smaller ones. I did all that and it worked. Jacques
