Ok Blake I am gonna tell you how to remove the thing. It is best that you used the proper puller for this buuuuuuut you can fudge here is how it go's.
Remove the nut holding the wheel to the shaft, reinstall the nut untill the top of the nut is flush with the top of the shaft. (NO THREADS EXPOSED) Using 2 large ballpeen hammers place one hammer on the nut and top of the steering shaft, sitting in the seat behind the wheel, use your knees to push upwards on the steering wheel, now strike the hammer with a larger hammer and the thing will release. Oh and wear safety glasses striking 2 hammers together is always asking for trouble.
