might find it a little easier with 4, especially if the wood is still in, it does need to be lifted high for the skirts to clear the frame and tires .... and it seems to me theres more than 4 bolts on a short bed, like maybe 4 each side, the 2 on each cross sill and 2 each on the front and rear sills
