Take your truck to your favorite muffler shop and tell them what you want it to sound like. An experienced guy will know what to do.
I installed 1 7/8" duals with glasspacks to my 57 235 with Fenton headers. That was way to loud. I replaced the glass packs with Flowmaster 40's and I love the new sound. It's rumbly but not to loud.
