Hi there,
I swapped in a 1955 Car engine into my 1954 Chevy Truck. The old engine had a remote oil filter, the new one from the '55 doesn't appear to have the same connector.
Can anyone tell me if the '55 auto engine required a remote filter? I cannot find a filter space in that engine. I would think it would need one but I am a little confused as to where it would connect.
