my first thought when I saw your original question: I've never seen or heard of a fan clutch on an original 59 283, just what got you going on that idea? are you having cooling problems?

what you see there and have taken apart is all there is for the stock 283, the fan blade, the pully, and the water pump with an impeller shaft that the rest bolts to .... if you want to install a clutched fan you'll need to find one to buy and change other things as well, if you wanted to get rid of the clutch you could have saved some work by asking a different question

what a fan clutch looks like, bolts to the flange of the pump, then fan bolts to it
