That is quite low I think. I would have thought more along the lines of 90 lbs.

The common feeling is that as long as the variation between cylinders is small, things should work OK.

The reading could change with a refinement in testing procedure, so don't condemn the truck to the scrap heap yet.

Did all the cylinders read that same approximate value. I think it should start. Do a detailed "re-check" and you might find something you missed. 60 lbs across the boards should not be the cause of the old beast's refusal to start.
