Any idea the inner grill bar color for a 1949 truck in Cape Maroon? I am changing the original color from swift red to cape maroon, and giving the front fenders and running boards a shot of gloss black. I had considered painting the inner bars black, the outers maroon, or else the whole grill maroon with the gold stripe line.
Any idea on how it would have been done, originally? Of course, sans two-toning the fenders.
