For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2010 Posts: 303 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: May 2010 Posts: 303 | I have a hood that came with my truck. I picked up a hood that was in better condition. The hood I picked up is identical to the hood that came with my 55 truck and in every respect is identical to the hood. But the 55 hood I picked up does not have any holes on the front of it to mount the hood emblem. At first I figured that some one had welded up the holes. But there are no signs on the hood that the holes had been welded up. My question is, did they make a 55 chevy truck hood at the factory that did not have the holes drilled for the hood emblem?? If not then whoever did the weld up job on the hood did one heck of a job. Thanks for any help | | |
