Right now I'm just painting the cab (first time). This is where I'm at. Sanded to bare metal. Put on evercoat rage extreme body filler on metal where needed. Summit racing epoxy primer. More filler where I missed the first time. Another coat of epoxy primer. Filler where I missed the second time. Epoxy primer over the filler. Scuffed with 600 grit paper. PPG shop line 2k filler primer.

Next I'm going to sand. Now after that I can put on a sealer or skip the sealer and paint away. I was told that the benefit of a sealer is that everything is one color and I wont have shaded areas in the paint. I plan to use the maroon paint, which is pretty dark, so I don't see that being a problem. I'm leaning towards skipping it because I'm running out of cash and getting anxious to paint.
