Rather that subbing your truck, why not go with the S 10 chassis swap? the S 10 has the same front suspension as the G body car, and the long bed chassis corrects the fender to wheel alignment. There also more factory upgrades (read CHEAP!) that can be done, such as 4 wheel disk brakes and suspesion upgrades. I'd leave the G body cars to the drag racers and demo guys.
