Different year W-1's have a slightly different accelerator set-up. The earlier ones have a pivot that goes thru the potmetal, the later models have a shaft that the pump arm pivots on. The ealier design has a problem of wearing out. I believe the spring you are showing is for the earlier carb. I think I have this right, if not someone will correct me. Don
