still not quite what im looking for. im trying to figure out how to wire the gauges (tach and fuel level gauge mostly). the harness was shot due to a thermo nuclear melt down from the previous owner, combined with switching from an externally regulated alternator to an internally regulated alternator- im just wondering what wires went to what originally. the tach has 2 wires; black and an orangy, pinkish, brown (its faded so i dont really know what color it is). and the fuel level gauge has a pink and light brown/tan wire coming out of it. i know the brown one is connected to the fuel sending unit- but where does the pink one go? im thinking that it goes to a power source, but i dont want to ruin the gauges if they still work. and the tach im thinking the black goes to the neg pole on the coil and the other is power? if any one knows i could use the help! thanks
