OK, here's a neat trick for pulling the seals without a seal puller; after removing the c-locks, slide the axle out. Place the groove for the c-lock under the lip of the seal. Now swing the axle toward the opposite side of the seal from where you've placed the grove. You can now use the axle itself as a seal puller by prying the seal out. I use this procedure and it works every time.
