Usually the fronts are easier than the rears since you can remove the nut on the spindle, remove the outer bearing and have some play back and forth with the drum once the bearing is out. If that still doesn't work, you can try removing the bolts for the wheel cylinder from the backing plate to let the cylinder slide out with the shoes. Also, you can drill out the two locating pins from the shoes from the back side of the backing plate. One or a combination of these should get the drums off. If the wheel is still turning, you should not be having such a tough time.
