don stocker Shop Shark D Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 2,544 osceola, wi	What year is your 261? I think that Chevrolet trucks used solid lifters till '59. I may be wrong. I know that the earlier blocks are not drilled for hydraulic lifters.
