For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2010 Posts: 144 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: May 2010 Posts: 144 | The heater motor in my ’53 3600 does not work but I tested the core and it holds 25 lbs pressure. I have posted pictures at http://s982.photobucket.com/albums/...hevy%203600%20truck/53%20Truck%20heater/ . Can anyone tell me if this is a stock Chevy heater or if it is an aftermarket heater? One of the plastic covers on what appear to be defrost outlets says “CDC”. The motor seems to be pop riveted to the heater body. There is no sign of heater controls or defrost ducts. I now have 12 volt wiring. Should I replace with a completely new unit and if so, who has a good one? Thanks John | | |
