It sounds like it is a fuel issue if it will start every time but won't keep running. Is there a fuel filter on it that could be plugged.
If you take the fuel line off at the carburetor, it should gush gas as you turn the motor over. Be sure to do this into a cup or pan..no fires.
You know you have gas in the tank...could you have any water in the gas?
Keep trying and let us know, we will figure it out with you, or die trying.
