This is a topic that has been discussed a lot, but not much for the 55-59 trucks. As most trucks, my 58 hood is "proped up" on the drivers side. I have made all of the adjustments and its not going down.
I had an idea. What if I notched the hood bracket upwards. There are 3 bolts, two on the firewall and one on the inner fender. If I drilled the mounting bracket holes upwards a little bit, it will move the entire bracket down. Anyone see any problems with this?
