Thanks for the info on the tar paper , I noticed that when I disassembled. The rubber seal I am raising question about is the one between the "sill" plate and the cab body. This is the one at the inside of the door opening at the body. I disassembled this when I was de-rusting, held in place with clutch heads. I may not be using the right term when I use "sill" but the piece fits inside of the "cab" dooorway at the bottom and is a finish trim piece which will be painted body color. Doug
