Safety first! jack stands and block the wheels, set the brake ect!! Most new parts come with instructions, but if not, note how the old ones are installed and do one side first so you can look at the other side if necessary. Most shocks come "compressed", so when you take the tie off they will extend. So its easier to install them sometimes with the ties left on. If you do untie them you can compress them easy enough. Next best thing your FLAP guy can help. Take your time, easy job once you do it, good luck.
