For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2003 Posts: 33 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2003 Posts: 33 | Well I'm finally back to my 49 truck project some years later. Quite some time ago I managed to get the truck painted and engine rebuilt. The interior of the truck is stripped of gauges and a new wiring harness is waiting to be installed. I would like to get the truck running so that I could move it around. I have identified the engine harness and where all the wire go. Beyond that it's still a work in progress. My question is what connections do I need in order to start the engine and charge the battery? Can I achieve getting it to a running state without gauges? Thanks Steve | | |
