Finding a dolly that will fit an axle that wide will be a challenge, & most rental places wont rent them to you to haul anything heavier than a mid sized car. They just aren't rated for the weight, & those with surge brakes dont have the braking force needed if you actualy need to stop quickly.

Also, if the vehicle is not licensed you cant just tow it, you either have to have all the wheels off the deck or buy a trip pass from the DMV before you move it. Since you have no idea how old that rubber is & whether it will make it 10 miles or a 100 feet, best bet is a trailer.
My old beast had decent rubber on it, so I had a loacl tow company bring our thier Class-B and pull it for me, made life a LOT easier all around. 'Tater tops the scales at 9,500lbs tho, so my choices were a lot more limited than yours.

Best thing you can do is ask around the local area farm stores & tractor shops to see if anyone has an equipment trailer (at least a 10K) & truck that would be interested in makin a little change to haul her home for you. Over on your side of the state it shouldn't be too hard, and it beats gettin hammered by a bored WSP officer.

1970 VW Volksrod "the Black Bomber"
2007 Chevy Avalanche
2020 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk,
2005 Harley Davidson FLHTCUI

I dig all cars, old and new, whether they were hammered out of American iron, German steel, or Japanese tin cans. Being unable to appreciate them all is missing out on a world of great things.
But thats just MY opinion!
