Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment (and references) for you!

For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 3,750 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 3,750 | Woody I painted mine off the doors, I simply hung them up with welding wire through the screw holes, and scooted the paint on. I wanted mine silver to contrast the blue I was originally planning. I did manage to intall them (a trial run) without too much damage, although in doing this I noticed a small amount of cracking at the tight front radius. As FGT said a second pair of hands does help. It's a bit like trying to lift a drunk man! I'm presently trying to source a good second hand stainless set.

I've definately got this truck thing in my blood ... my DNA sequence has torque settings"Of all the small nations of this earth, perhaps only the ancient Greeks surpass the Scots in their contribution to mankind" Winston Churchill.
