I am lowering my 65 C-10 and I'm doing the disc brake swap up front like most people do and I'm trying to cover all my bases before I spend money on parts. I know most of you have used drop spindles before and my question is have you ever run into problems with the spindle and disc brake setup moving your wheels out? Reason I ask is CPP has come out with these new spindles that are supposed to give 2in more fender clearance because they don't move the wheel out like normal spindles. I'm wondering if the clearance is a big deal or not mainly because the "new" spindles cost about $100 bucks more then the normal spindles. I've never heard of someone having a big issue with the clearance unless they are running silly wide wheels. Any info would be helpful. Thanks
How do I know so much about these trucks? I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
